Mahaguru IAS — Frequently Asked Questions
What is Mahaguru IAS’s teaching model?
We follow a Gurukul-inspired mentorship model—weekly study plans, disciplined routines, live doubt-solving, and tracked progress. You learn via live classes + recordings, concise notes, and regular tests with feedback.
Do you offer online as well as offline classes?
Yes. We run hybrid batches. Attend live online or centre sessions (where available) and access recordings on the app throughout the course duration.
How are the UPSC and JPSC tracks structured?
Separate UPSC/JPSC tracks with integrated Prelims + Mains coverage. Modules include GS I–IV, CSAT, Essay, Current Affairs, and test series with review. Optional paper support is announced batch-wise.
How does mentorship & doubt-clearing work?
You are assigned a mentor who conducts weekly check-ins, plans your targets, and evaluates answers. Doubts are resolved via live sessions and mentor slots; urgent queries are taken up on the discussion channel.
Will I get class recordings and notes?
Yes. Recordings, crisp notes, and practice PDFs remain accessible on the app during the course. This supports revision and catch-up if you miss a class.
What is the language of instruction?
We run English and Hindi / bilingual batches. Check the batch page or ask our team for the medium of an upcoming batch.
How long is the Foundation programme?
Typically 9–12 months depending on the batch. It includes concept classes, revision cycles, and a structured test plan leading up to Prelims & Mains.
